67 Minutes for Mandela Day

In honour of Mandela Day, on the last day of term, our pupils from Grades R to 12 put service into action by rolling up their sleeves for a litter clean-up. They covered the campus and the surrounding neighbourhood, demonstrating that even the simplest acts of service can make a difference.
May we all be inspired to carry the spirit of Mandela Day beyond these 67 minutes by serving others, caring for our environment and making a positive difference every day.

Epworth has an active community engagement programme that takes place throughout the year. The pupils are involved in all sorts of projects and support various different organisations, such at CHOC, the SPCA, P.A.R.R., Youth for Christ, Thandanani, KPCA, We-Collect, the Epworth Ubuntu project, Singakwenza, Allison Homes and the Jes Foord Foundation.
