OUR OBJECTIVES
GENERAL BURSARIES
To provide bursaries for those who otherwise would not be able to afford an Epworth education.
EPWORTHIAN BURSARIES
To provide bursaries for Epworthians’ (past pupils) children who otherwise would not be able to afford an Epworth education.

To provide support for our strategic fundraising projects and initiatives.

EPWORTH CHAPEL PROJECT:
Help us raise funds for our chapel project, which includes improving the acoustics in the chapel.

EPWORTH POOL STARTING BLOCKS:

The cost of a block sponsorship is R5000, which includes a plaque with wording of your choice. Individuals or groups of individuals, such as class year groups, can sponsor blocks.

EPWORTH UBUNTU PROJECT:
The Epworth Ubuntu Project was created out of a deep desire to live out “humanity towards others” right here on our campus – by supporting and uplifting our dedicated Epworth staff, who work tirelessly every day in our estates and support departments, and by instilling a spirit of lifelong learning within all who are part of the Epworth community.
Rolling out this programme to live Ubuntu on our campus is made easier by an invaluable resource at our fingertips - our caring and compassionate academic and support staff, with their extensive expertise across a wide range of subjects and disciplines.
In the initial phase of the programme, we will focus on imparting basic life skills, which have been requested by our estates staff. These include skills such as computer literacy, budgeting and finance, CV compiling and swimming.
As we refine and develop the project, we hope to extend it to our staff members’ families, offering more formal courses focused on basic education, covering literacy, numeracy and subject knowledge, as well as basic adult education, which will assist those who did not complete formal schooling.
Our Grade 7 class of 2025, through the funds raised from their Endurance Challenge, has already contributed the necessary finances to initialise the programme. We challenge others to support this initiative financially, or by giving of your skills or resources.
