SPIRITUAL LIFE

SPIRITUAL LIFE AT EPWORTH PREPARATORY SCHOOL

The moral compass of Epworth is set by the spiritual qualities embedded in the Christian faith. As a Christian School our religious expression is shaped by the Methodist philosophy of actualising faith in community. We walk the talk.

Epworth pupils, who represent many different denominations, have opportunities for fellowship, worship and service. We always welcome pupils of all faiths.

We infuse spirituality into daily school life and all pupils, from Grades R to 7, attend weekly, age-appropriate chapel services led by our school chaplain. We also hold special chapel services throughout the year to celebrate Christian holidays, such as Easter and Christmas. Pupils, staff and parents are invited to these events.

Pupils in Grades 3 to 7 can participate in Scripture Union, which is part of the extra-curricular programme.
