EPWORTH SCHOLARSHIPS AND FELLOWSHIPS
ONLY AWARDED TO PUPILS ENTERING GRADE 8
SCHOLARSHIPS
Epworth High School awards a limited number of major and minor academic, performing arts and sports scholarships to Grade 8 applicants. These scholarships are tenable for five years provided standards are maintained.
We offer the following scholarships:
Academic Scholarships
There is no application form for academic scholarships. All pupils write a benchmark test (date to be confirmed) that is skills-based rather then content-based
Performing Arts Scholarships
These scholarships require a completed performing arts scholarship application form, which will be emailed to applicants if requested on the the online application. To be considered for these scholarships, applicants should be working towards a music, theatre or dance examination with a major-stream organisation, for example, Trinity, ABRSM, RAD.
Sports Scholarships
These scholarships require a completed sports scholarship application form, which will be emailed to applicants if requested on the online application. To be considered for these scholarships, applicants should have competed at a provincial or national level in one or more sports.
FELLOWSHIPS
We award a limited number of fellowships to Grade 8 applicants based on financial need and an applicant's achievements. These are reviewed on an annual basis. Fellowships do not cover 100% of the tuition and/or boarding costs. These may range from 10% to a maximum of 50% off tuition and/or boarding. Please note that an application in itself does not guarantee a fellowship.
Should you wish to apply for a fellowship, we will email you an application form when we receive the online application form.
