On 2 February, Epworth joined the rest of the world in celebrating World Read Aloud Day which encourages young and old to grab a book, find an audience and read aloud. Members of the High School library crew (library monitors) visited the Prep School library to read to the Grade 1 pupils. It was a fun event enjoyed by both the “big girls” of the High School and enthusiastically received by the littlies. It brought the two schools together and reinforced the joys of reading.
