Eco-Schools’ Strelitzia Award

Epworth School is the proud recipient of the Eco-Schools’ Strelitzia Award for its contribution to environmental sustainability in 2024. This celebrates Epworth’s 21st year as part of the Eco-Schools’ programme. During the year, Epworth completed 76 projects across 10 themes.

The KZN WESSA Eco-Schools’ assessment team commended Epworth on its achievements: “This incredible milestone is a true reflection of the passion and dedication of your entire school community: students, teachers, and everyone involved in championing environmental sustainability. Your ongoing commitment to eco-friendly practices, raising environmental awareness, and weaving sustainability into your curriculum is truly inspiring.”
