Induction of new Head of High School

Friday, 19 April was an auspicious day in the life of our school as we celebrated the induction of Mrs Dionne Redfern as our 16th Head of Epworth High School. We were honoured to have members of Mrs Redfern’s family as well as friends of the Epworth community and other school heads join us for this momentous occasion.

Epworth Chaplain, Mrs Rebecca Schultz and Reverend Raymond Keet officially inducted Mrs Redfern, offering  a prayer of dedication as school members and her family gathered around. They prayed for the empowering of God’s Holy Spirit in the work that she will do. A key highlight was a welcoming address from representatives of the school community: the Board, the Prep School, the High School staff, the High School pupils and the Epworthians. They all assured Mrs Redfern of their commitment to support her in her new role.

As Mrs Redfern embarks on her Epworth journey, we pray for God’s guidance and blessing. As a school, we commit to work with and support her as, together, we uphold the Epworth ethos of faith, compassion and courage.
