“Day with a Difference” for Prep School pupils

In celebration of Youth Day, the Prep School put together A Day with a Difference for all the pupils. Every grade was involved in an activity that deviated from the normal academic work that typifies a normal school day.

The Grades R to 3, along with their parents, enjoyed a day filled with everything “Gruffalo”. They listened to a Gruffalo story, made Gruffalo biscuits and crafts and even ventured on a Gruffalo treasure hunt.

The Grade 4s produced moon-art canvases and the Grade 5s painted continental pillow cases which they are sewing for Eden Kids. The Grade 6s engaged in a lesson on biscuit making for the visitors and residents at CHOC House, while the Grade 7s enjoyed a bridge-building project, honing their construction and team-work skills.

The day ended with a picnic for friends and family along with a vibrant chapel service.
