The pupils in Grades 1 to 3 took audiences on a journey of rhymes and raps in their production, Once Upon a Rhyme. It was a delightful romp through modern versions of old fairy tales from wolves in granny’s clothes, stealing from the rich, building straw houses, healthy exercising, a twist in Cinderella, to a sassy hen who lays golden eggs. The young performers revelled in being able to exhibit their acting talents in front of family and friends.
The original scripts were written by Val Neubecker and linked together by Sandra Henning. They can be sourced at here.
