In celebration of Mandela Day on 18 August, the whole school, from Grades RRR to 12, joined together to contribute to a community clean-up in and around Epworth. The Grade 1s and 7s worked in the estates vegetable garden, harvesting the produce and selling it to staff in order to buy more seedlings. In the true spirit of Mandela Day, all the pupils contributed enthusiastically to the initiative. It was wonderful to have some of our parents volunteering their help on the day.
